Cornell University

Cornell is a private Ivy League research University that was founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White.
The University’s motto is the quote by Ezra, “I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.”
The mascot of the university is a Big Red Bear. Cornell is home to seven undergraduate colleges and schools that offer more than 4,000 courses across 100 academic departments. The faculty, numbering more than 2,900 worldwide, includes Nobel laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, and recognized leaders in their respective fields. The campus spreads 2300 acres in the city of Ithaca in New York’s Finger Lakes Region in United States. It also has colleges in New York City and Qatar.
