Superheroes are legendary figures. They take on supervillains, fly super cool aircraft, and motivate us to be our greatest selves. So much so that we occasionally lose sight of the fact that they are regular individuals. They all have families and day jobs, and some even attend college.

In truth, some of the most well-known superheroes attended actual schools that you might attend, and some of them had amazing educational histories!

  1. Ironman: It’s important saying even if everyone is aware of it. Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, earned his degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)! When Stark was just 19 years old, he received his PhD in Electrical Engineering and Physics. In other words, Tony Stark is still a genius, a millionaire, a philanthropist, and a college graduate even without the suit.
  1. Batman: Bruce Wayne, widely known as Batman, has no real superpowers. Batman defeats his foes through ingenuity and exceptional intelligence… along with a tonne of money. The world’s greatest detective is undoubtedly someone who has earned a college degree. As it turns out, Bruce Wayne holds a law degree from Yale.
  1. Hulk: The Hulk is a hero who often chooses brawn over brains. However, Bruce Banner is one of the smartest, most well-educated characters in the Marvel universe. He has 7 PhDs from various universities. Before going to Harvard University and then Pennsylvania State University, he originally studied nuclear physics at the hypothetical Desert State University. At the California Institute of Technology, Bruce Banner earned a PhD in nuclear physics.
  1. Daredevil: Matt Murdoch is not only an inspiration for the disabled community but also to those who desire to further their studies at a prestigious university. Daredevil is an Ivy League graduate, having studied law at Columbia and Harvard University. He spends his nights fighting crime and his days in court as a courageous lawyer fighting for the oppressed. Even in the imaginary world where people fly, you still need a degree to be a lawyer.
  1. Black Panther: T’Challa, the Black Panther, is not just a formidable fighter, but also a well-educated monarch. As a young man, T’Challa moved to America and Europe to attend school. He eventually enrolled at the famous Oxford University in England, where he got a PhD in Physics.

It’s comforting to know that, despite not being able to fly or scale walls, we still have certain things in common with these superheroes.
