University College London (UCL) was established in 1826, and was the first university institution to be established in London. UCL was also the first university in England to allow students regardless of the religion they practice. UCL’s main campus lies in the Bloomsbury area of central London and it has other institutes and medical college in other parts of central London; UCL also has a satellite campus in Doha, Qatar. The University College London consistently features in the top thirty colleges globally, and the top ten nationally.
