Duke University

Duke University is a private, non-profit, research university that was founded in 1838 by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity. The University has had many different names in the past viz. Brown School, Union Institute, Normal College and Trinity College. Duke undergraduates enjoy opportunities to engage in original research and receive mentorship by world-class faculty. The Undergraduate Research Support Office identifies grants and assistantships for undergraduate projects and summer programs.
