Brown has one of the best student bodies enrolled in various college, graduate and professional programs. With more than 400 student organisations and clubs that cater to extracurricular interests, the student body is dynamic and progressive all the time.

Brown has various academic units such as the College, School of Public Health, School of Engineering, Warren Alpert Medical School, etc.

Brown offers financial aid in various ways such as scholarships, Outside Awards, etc. Brown offers to cover 100% of demonstrated need while expecting the parents' contribution to be 0 if the income is less than $60,000. $ 50,108 is the average financial aid award for the class of 2022.

All first-year students — and 74 per cent of all undergraduates — live on campus. Undergraduate freshmen live in residences on campus with a tight-knit community. Each hall rooms about 50-60 students. The Greek-letter organisations also house over 1,100 students who participate.

The Brown libraries have special collections which exceed a count of 250. The library also allows access to online databases and tens of thousands journals, newspapers and e-books. The Brown community can access this collection from any part of the world and at any time. Some of the most prominent ones in this system are the John Carter Brown Library, Annmary Brown Memorial, John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library, Champlin Memorial Library, etc..
