We know the newspaper is famous for whistleblowing larger corporations, but we cannot tell what the scope of the paper is. Does the arsenic stay in the follicles long enough to prove the individual once lives near a farm using arsenic on crops? Because this is an \\u201cEXCEPT\\u201d question, four of the five answer choices will be assumptions, so look for the answer choice that least relates to the conclusion. You can also use the negation technique: even if arsenic does NOT poison groundwater slowly, and symptoms in humans can develop quickly, the conclusion is not shattered.
